Denim Day Held in Honor of C. Papierski
 Ridgewood Faculty Go Casual for a Cause
We can't find a cure for breast cancer, unless we look for one. On Friday, October 5th, 2007,Ridgewood faculty and staff helped by raising awareness and participating in Lee National Denim Day.
A $5 donation to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation allowed faculty and staff to wear jeans to work. The event is held in memory of Carol Papierski, Ridgewood Special Education teacher and club sponsor of the Future Business Leaders of America, and her brave spirit.
This is the 10th year RHS has hosted the event. This year Ridgewood faculty donated $770. Superintendent Dr. Robert Lupo bought coffee and rolls for the staff, making it a great day to “go casual for a cause.” For more information on Denim Day, please visit www.denimday.com.
