What is the ABE Award? 

Every year teens throughout the state nominate books and then vote for the book they think is most outstanding.  The book with the most votes wins the Abraham Lincoln High School Book Award or the ABE Award.  The award is sponsored by the Illinois School Library Media Association (ISLMA).

How Do You Participate?

All book trailers posted on this site were found on YouTube. 

The Votes are in!!!  RHS students came to the library, they read, and they voted for the book they thought was best.  This year we had 202 students qualify to vote by reading 4 or more books off the ABE list.  Ridgewood has some Rock’n ABE Readers!  Below are Ridgewood’s results and overall totals for the state.  Didn’t read one of the winner’s?  Come to the library to check out the book out and see what all the hype is about!
