The G.A.M.E. Team (Goal Setting and Mentor Educators) meets with students in the Freshmen Learning Skills class. Mentors from all walks of life assists students with setting realistic academic goals. Check out photos from of our mentors and students.

Students entering Ridgewood have varied educational backgrounds, so this course has been created to establish a skill base which will assist students in being successful in high school. The Learning Skills course is cross-curricular and provides students with the tools they need for future success.

General Goals for Learning Skills:

1. Create a common base of skills which all Freshmen will possess.
2. Develop competency in basic learning skills so that students can more effectively meet goals in both academic settings and personal growth.
3. Enable students to be more effective learners and provide them with the tools they need to lead successful lives.
