First Word:
Nihilism. A noun. A viewpoint that traditional values and beliefs are unfounded and that existence is senseless and useless.

She clearly articulated her opinion that nihilism was itself senseless and useless because it only gave an excuse to those who wanted to do nothing to make their existence or the existence of others any better.

Second Word:
Oligarchy. A noun. A government in which the power is in the hands of a few persons.

When referring to governments, the classical definition of oligarchy, as given for example by Aristotle, is of government by a few, usually the rich, for their own advantage.
