Triton College is offering an Early Assessment for high school juniors. This opportunity will help Juniors determine their college readiness in the areas of English and math. This free event is being held on Thursday, November 6th at 5:00 PM or on Saturday, November 8th at 9:00 AM at Triton. See your Counselor for more information.

Conrad Birdie to Appear Live on the Ed Sullivan Show!
The Ridgewood Rebellion school newspaper has just learned that famed rock n’ roll star Conrad Birdie will appear live on the Ed Sullivan Show tomorrow night. He’ll be singing his newest hit single “One Last Kiss” before a live audience and giving his last kiss to Kim MacAfee. The entire MacAfee family will appear with Conrad. When we asked Mr. MacAfee about his feelings about being on the Ed Sullivan Show, his only response was, “Me. Ed MacAfee. On the Ed Sullivan Show?” You too can see Conrad and the MacAfee family appearing on the Ed Sullivan Show this tomorrow night, Friday night and again on Saturday at 7:00 PM in the Frances Bernero Auditorium, Room 105. Faculty and staff are free, while students are only $3. General admission is only $5. All tickets can be purchased at the door. When Ed Sullivan was asked about Conrad appearing on his show he had this to say, “I think it’s going to be a really, really big show. Those kids are really crazy for this fine upstanding American boy.”

Winter Clothing Drive
Although it's 70 degrees outside now, the cold winter weather is on its way. Please help the needy by donating gently used or new hats, gloves, scarves, and boots. NHS is sponsoring this winter accessory drive and will be giving all items to the Jane Addams Hull House Association. You can drop off your items in Room 145. People who donate at least five good items will receive a Starbucks gift card for a free drink. Again, that's gloves, hats, scarves, and boots. Thank you for helping out!
