Conrad Birdie to Give One Last Kiss!
The Ridgewood Rebellion school newspaper has just found out that Conrad Birdie, the famous teen idol rock n’ roll star, will be giving one of his biggest fans a final farewell kiss before he reports for the army. Kim MacAfee of Sweet Apple, Ohio was the lucky winner of a random drawing from thousands of Conrad Birdie Fan Club members. The Rebellion tried to call Kim, but all phone lines in Sweet Apple were busy as apparently two teenagers had just agreed to go steady with each other. Albert Peterson, of the Almaelou music cooperation and Conrad’s producer, was quoted as saying “One Last Kiss will be the biggest hit of Conrad’s career. Everyone will want to say “bye bye Birdie’”! You too can say “bye, bye Birdie,” this Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7:00 PM in the Frances Bernero Auditorium. Faculty and staff are free, while students are only $3. General admission is only $5. All tickets can be purchased at the door. As the Birdie Fan Club would say anytime Conrad appears on television,
“AAAHHHHHHHH!!”

Why is WRHS playing holiday music?
Every year on November 2nd, Lite FM 93.9 WLIT in Chicago becomes "The Holiday Lite." That is, until this year. The only radio station in Chicago to hear holiday music is "Jack Frost," 89.7 FM WRHS Norridge... tied in the Guinness Book of World Records for holiday music.

Winter Clothing Drive
Although it's 70 degrees outside now, the cold winter weather is on its way. Please help the needy by donating gently used or new hats, gloves, scarves, and boots. NHS is sponsoring this winter accessory drive and will be giving all items to the Jane Addams Hull House Association. You can drop off your items in Room 145. People who donate at least five good items will receive a Starbucks gift card for a free drink. Again, that's gloves, hats, scarves, and boots. Thank you for helping out!

Watch WRHS Television on Comcast Cable Channel 19 and Digital 111.5 on Thursdays from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM. It's the 10th season of WRHS. That's 40 years of WRHS Television. November 6, 2008 at 7:00 PM is a new episode of Judicial Perspective. Episode 35 is titled "The Foreclosure Process In Illinois" Then at 7:30 PM is Real Estate Roundtable: Buying And Selling A Home. WRHS: TV Worth Watching!

RHS Drama Halloween Totals
Thank you Ridgewood for donating food to the Salvation Army this past Halloween. With the combined effort of their Haunted House and Trick-or-Treating this past Friday, RHS Drama Club and Thespian Troupe members collected 436 pounds of food for the local Salvation Army. Way to go Ridgewood! You just made being hungry for a few families a little less scary.
