It’s time to announce our ABE Readers of the Week. This week’s lucky winners are Ania Tacikiewicz and Brian Gibellin. Congratulations Ridgewood Cross Country!
The Rebels competed at Elmwood Park last Friday with the following results: Johnny Caravia competed in the varsity 3 mile race and finished with a time of 16 minutes and 38 seconds. Varsity runner John Hajduk ran a 17 minute 35 second 3 mile. Tommy Caravia finished in 17:55.

Sophomore Catherine Hajduk ran the 3 mile varsity race in 20 minutes and 13 seconds. The RHS Cross Country team will compete in conference at Fenton on Saturday.

Soccer Team Wins Conference Title!
Coach Saint John is extremely proud to congratulate the Boys Soccer Team on their 3-1 victory over Fenton Thursday night. With the victory the team won its first conference title in the 12 year history of the soccer program!Goals in the match were scored by Marcin Zalewski (assisted by Willie Brinati), Mario Navarrete (assisted by Randy Zepeda), and Anthony LaBarbara. Outstanding play by Radek Witek, Patryk Boduch, and the rest of the defensive unit led the team to a historic victory!

SIU College Visit to Multimedia Broadcast Club
Mr. Bob Quane and Radio-television faculty from SIU will be observing the recording of episode 215 of The Scoop with Science Teacher Mr. Hugh “Monty” Adams on Tuesday at 3:05 PM in the TV Studio, Room 152. SIU wishes to share updates related to their entertainment arts option, award winning student productions, and the expansion of internship opportunities.
