KOSY admits it is beat by WRHS on website.
KOSY-FM is a commercial radio station located in Centerville, Utah, broadcasting to the Salt Lake City, Utah area on 106.5 FM. For the past two years, KOSY has laid claim to being the first non-stunting station in America to change over to holiday music for the season. The station changed on October 29, 2006 and November 1, 2007. On the web, they acknowledge they were beaten by “Norridge (Chicago) station WRHS and Kansas City station KCKC as the first to air holiday music beating KOSY by a matter of a few hours.” As you know, "Jack Frost" is 89.7 FM WRHS Norridge.

Varsity Volleyball Wins!
Hey, did you see the Varsity volleyball game last night? From the look of the stands - you didn't! Well, the Rebels won the most exciting match of the season when they beat the Fenton Bison. Melissa Vitale had 32 digs, Dani Rzewnicki had 17 assists, and Katie Serpico had 10. Those stats aside, we couldn't have won without a complete team effort. It was an amazing comeback and a great conference win. Great job girls! Wlodarczyk and Cantos are so proud of you! If you want to see the Rebels in action again, come to the gym tomorrow at 4:30 PM when our volleyball teams take on Elmwood Park.

October 9, 2008 at 7:00 PM is a double dose of Ms. Jennifer Buteyn on The Scoop. See her in 2001-2002 when she was interviewed by Kurt Wachholder as a new science teacher. Then watch her new 2008 interview as Ridgewood's third principal with Joseph Venable. At 7:30 PM, Illinois Supreme Court Justice Rita Garman is our guest on episode 30 of Judicial Perspective.
