Girls Volleyball
Congratulations to the freshman girls volleyball team on their win against Guerrin on Friday. Captains Mallory McCormick and Megi Aliaj led their team to a victory in only two games. Great job ladies!

Juniors and Seniors
Now is the time to start visiting colleges you might want to attend.

It is important to visit colleges that you might be interested in attending. Illinois State University, Northern Illinois University, and University of Illinois at Chicago are all having an open house on Monday, October 13th. This is a perfect day to visit a college campus since Ridgewood has the day off. For more information on college visits please see your counselor.

Library Design Survey
This summer the library will be getting a make-over and we need your help. Please complete the library design survey located on the Ridgewood Homepage or the Library's homepage to provide input on how you want the the new and improved library to look.

Nominate a book for next year’s ABE Award
Have you a read a great book lately and want others to read it? Then nominate it for next year’s ABE Award.

In order to nominate a book, please fill out a yellow nomination form and return it to the library. Place forms in the blue ABE box located on the circulation desk.

There a few criteria that the books have to meet. The most important is that the book has to have been published in the past 5 years and come in paperback form. But don’t worry; Ms. Gonzalez will check all the books nominated. All you have to do is fill out the form. Forms must be received by Monday, October 13th.

Auditions for the musical Bye, Bye Birdie are this Wednesday and Friday in the Frances Bernero Auditorium, Room 105, at 3:30 PM. As you kids like to say: "be there or be square".
