Please welcome the newest members of "The Ridgewood Report" to read the news on the public address system. Mondays with Maggie Habel, Tuesdays with Deema Hawari and Fridays with Bernice Mecinski. They join returning anchor Samantha Popo, who is solo on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Triton Dual Credit Student
Students scheduled for Dual Credit classes at Triton need to register at Triton College from now until August 22nd at one of the following times:

• Monday to Thursday: 12 Noon to 4:30 PM
• Friday: 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM

The 2009 Abraham Lincoln High School Award Books are invading Ridgewood! Stop by the library to check out this year’s selection. Remember to fill out an ABE review form every time you read an ABE book for your chance to win a free large pizza from Vince's, or a $5 gift certificate from Starbucks or Potbelly Sandwich Works.

Attention all freshmen and sophomores interested in playing football. The season has started and we are still looking for athletes who are interested in playing football. If you are a freshmen or sophomore and are interested in being part of the Ridgewood football program, please see Coach Zack or Coach Rossi sometime today. Practice is after school at 3:30 PM on the practice field. Come join the Rebels football program!

Library Hours
The Ridgewood Library is open from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Thursday except not during Wednesday early dismissal teacher meetings. Fridays the library is only open till 3:00 PM.

Remember ... you must have your student ID in order to check out books!

Lunch Passes to the Library
If you would like to come to the library during your lunch period, you must come to the library and check in at the front desk during the beginning of the lunch period. Students who are late, will not be allowed in the library and must return to lunch. So walk fast!

Multimedia Club Meeting
Multimedia Broadcast Club runs the radio station 89.7 FM WRHS Norridge 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It also runs WRHS Television 19 Thursdays from 7 to 8 PM and WRWX Television 4 inside Ridgewood. We are looking for new members. Come to the meeting Tuesday at 3:05 PM in the TV Studio, Room 152. That's in the library next to Computer Lab Room 150.

Parking Permit Applications
Parking Permit Applications for the 1st semester of the 2008/2009 School Year are available in the Attendance Office before and after school. In order to park in the student lot a valid sticker must be properly displayed on your vehicle starting Monday, August 25, 2008 or you WILL be ticketed.

Passes to the Library During Study Hall
Students are allowed to work in the library during their study hall period but they must receive a pass from their study hall teacher. So students must first go to their study hall, get a pass from their teacher and then check in with library staff at the front desk. Students without a pass will NOT be allowed in the library.

The Future Business Leaders of America are tops in the Nation!
Congratulations to the following members of the Future Business Leaders of America for their outstanding achievements at the National Leadership Conference in Atlanta, Georgia in June.

Seniors Taylor Sticha and Maciej Wachala finished 6th in the country in Management Decision Making.

Junior Anthony Kaldis took 9th place in Introduction to Technology Concepts.
