4C two shot: My name is Craig Johnson and I'm here with Liz Niewiarowski to bring you The Ridgewood Reporters for Thursday, May 8, 2003.

3L lum key: What do Jay Leno of The Tonight Show,
Chris Rock, Michael Jordan, football players from the Denver Broncos, and Ridgewood
High School all have in common? The answer: Hypnotist - Dr. Jim Wand! That's
right, Dr. Wand is a Master hypnotist who has worked with many celebrities and
he will be appearing at our school on Monday, May 19th. What is hypnosis exactly?
We asked Dr. Wand and this is what he said...

5C closer: Is your car filthy? Do your friends write "Wash Me" on it? Well, never fear - the Class of 2006 is here and we want to wash your car! That's right, Saturday, May 10th, we are having a car wash from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Don't miss the opportunity to make your "set of wheels" shine. Cars are $3 and trucks or larger vehicles are $5.
3L closer: If you performed in the Variety Show last Friday and left your music behind, please see Ms. Wilk in Room 230 to claim it!
5C: There is AP Testing tomorrow. To hear the announcements, tune your TV set into Channel 4 before 9:18 AM. Channel One Phillips TVs will not turn on automatically on Friday.
3L: Just like some of the reality series, WRHS Television will let you vote for your favorites. Go to today's morning announcements on www.ridgenet.org and vote for your favorite on-air host, your favorite show or your favorite PSA. Vote online now until Tuesday, May 13th at 8:00 AM.
5C: All library obligations (overdue books and fines) must be cleared before students can pick up their yearbooks. Do not wait until the last minute!
3L box: POLISH CLUB: There will be an important meeting on Thursday after school in Ms. Rudnicki's Room. Everyone must attend and plan on spending a half hour after school. See you there!
5C TV: On April 25, 2003, 12 Ridgewood DECA students, advised
by Mr. Drossos and Mrs. Pemberton, attended DECA's 57th Annual International
Career Development Conference in Orlando, Florida. The group joined a few hundred
attendees from Illinois and over 13,000 attendees from other states and countries.
This year Ridgewood made it further into competition than in some of the previous
years. One Ridgewood team even had the distinct honor of competing in the final
round of competition. Sharokina Pazand, Jose Huayamave, and Christian Iannotta
competed and placed 16th in the Retail Marketing Research Event, which had over
150 other groups competing in it. Other teams came from all over the Nation,
including Germany, Canada and Mexico. As they are graduating this year, they
are attending schools to study business in Chicago. Sharokina and Christian
will attend the University of Illinois in Chicago, and Jose will attend DePaul
University.
3L box: Attention Pep Club officers! Attention Pep Club Officers: The activity banquet will be Monday, May 12th at the Elmcrest. Please arrive at 6:30 PM. Please see Mr. Pagliaro to pre-register.
5C: Attention Varsity Football Players: Payment is due for the 7 on 7 Passing Championship at the University of Illinois on Thursday, May 8th. Last Call Boys!
3L: Seniors: Tomorrow is THE last day to buy prom and post prom tickets in the cafe during lunch. You also must have your post prom letter signed by a parent/guardian.
